So many wedding films!

Okay I’m making a promise to myself right now…. I’m going to update the website more frequently with wedding films we have created in the past. It’s been so long since I last updated the website that it’s taken me over an hour to work out exactly which wedding films I’ve published and which I haven’t. What’s more, with all the weddings we filmed in 2016, there’s lots to publish!

Abigail & Kane

Today, we’ll start with the wedding of Abigail & Kane who got married at St. Saviours in Ringley (Bolton). The reception was held at Barton Grange Hotel (Preston) later in the day. We filmed everything that happened on the day – bridal preparations, the arrival of guests at the church, the wedding ceremony, all the photo shoots at the church and the reception venue and of course the speeches (which were most amusing) and first dance. We stayed on to capture additional footage of the evening party, which found its way into the full wedding film we created for the client.

As always, we filmed the entire day on two cameras with two camera operators. The final film was delivered to the client on DVD and Blu-ray Disc (in high definition).

Music was chosen by the client and here’s the full list:

Rebecca & Simon at Ashfield House, Wigan

I think Rebecca & Simon may hold the record for the latest booking we ever took for a wedding film. They snuck in at the last minute, booking at 10.30pm the night before the wedding!

The entire wedding took place at Ashfield House in Wigan. We filmed the bridal preparations right through until after the first dance. This included the entire ceremony complete with pianist and around twenty minutes of featured shots from the photo session that was held in the grounds of the venue. We also captured all the speeches and extra shots of the party running late into the night.

The Wedding of Claire & Adam

Carillon Video features the wedding of Claire & Adam, filmed at The Villa, Wrea Green.

It’s always great to share some of our work and we’re especially pleased with this film we created for Claire & Adam. The film was shot in the Summer of 2015, entirely at The Villa in Wrea Green. The client wanted us to cover the full day but didn’t want the bridal preparations including. However, the full film features a musical interlude from the string quartet along with an amazing firework display late in the evening.

Full wedding film with highlights, taken from the wedding of Rachel & Alexander

We shot a wedding film for Rachel & Alexander starting at Our Lady’s RC Church in Aspull and followed the bride & groom right through until after the first dance at Derby House / The Paddock Restaurant in Wrightington.

The day started off with pouring rain, but that didn’t seem to dampen the spirits of our bride & groom or indeed their guests. The sun finally made an appearance for group photos in the afternoon at the reception venue and the speeches were exceptional.

Carillon Video presents Kelle & Ian, the Highlights and Full Wedding Film!

Kelle & Ian got married recently at Park Hall Hotel, Camelot. They elected to have us film their whole day complete with bride and groom preparations. We filmed everything, right through until well after the first dance. We also threw in some video messages from their guests, which (as always) were a delight to film.

We feel the need to make a special mention for “the bears” and “the ducks” which kept popping up throughout the day. Honestly, I swear those bears could move all by themselves and kept sneaking up on us!

Wedding Fair Promo Video & Fashion Show

Carillon Video promotes local wedding fair

Back at the end of March, we were asked by LocalWeddingFairs.com to produce a short promotional video for the wedding fair they held at The Macron Stadium (Reebok Stadium) in Bolton. Since then, we’ve been busy editing much of the footage from that show.

We featured different wedding suppliers who were exhibiting on the day and some sections of the fashion show. Over the next week, we’ll be putting together more short promo videos from the same show, using all the footage we shot. We’ve also put together a film of most of the first fashion show held on the day (there were two such shows, both identical):
